Volleyball Recap: Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Victorious

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Irene/Wakonda Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Irene/Wakonda, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Beresford on the 6th. As for Irene/Wakonda, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Sioux Falls Lutheran on the 6th.
