Softball Recap: Rowland Comes Up Short

Rowland's last matchup with Northview could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Raiders came up short against the Vikings, falling 7-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-2 defeat on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Rowland and nudges their season record down to 9-8-1. As for Northview, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rowland will challenge rival Covina at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Northview is set to take on their familiar foe Wilson at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
