Basketball Recap: Redwood Wins Going Away Against Gregori

Redwood's tournament run continued when they took on Gregori on Friday. The Redwood Giants took down the Gregori Jaguars 67-50.

Kaleb Smith and Jayson Powers certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Smith posted 17 points, while Powers went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Marsden, who put up seven points.

The victory got Redwood back to even at 1-1. As for Gregori, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Redwood has already played their next match, a 55-43 win against Mountain House on the 7th. As for Gregori, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 83-65 victory against Granada on the 7th.
