Baseball Recap: Berry Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Berry Wildcats came up short against the Pickens Academy Pirates and fell 6-3. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Berry's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pickens Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Berry will welcome Lamar County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pickens Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge West Blocton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pickens Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so West Blocton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
