Soccer Game Preview: Carroll vs. Greene County

Carroll is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Greene County a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Carroll Tigers will host the Greene County Rams at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Carroll fell victim to Bondurant-Farrar and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Bluejays, falling 14-0.

Meanwhile, Greene County also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 9-0 to Ogden on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Greene County have lost by exactly nine goals.

Greene County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Carroll, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went Carroll's way against Greene County when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Carroll made off with a 5-1 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
