Softball Recap: Eastmont Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Issaquah

Eastmont faced Issaquah in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Eastmont saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brittany Howe, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Eastmont's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Issaquah, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

While Eastmont had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
