Mountain View had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Nampa Bulldogs to the tune of 87-32. The win continues a trend for the Mavericks in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

Mountain View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brooklyn Clausen, who went 9-for-14 en route to 18 points. What's more, Clausen also posted a 64% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Devry Huff, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 18 points and six rebounds.

Coming up, Mountain View will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Lake City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nampa, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-28 victory against Ridgevue on the 18th.
