Volleyball Recap: Swansea Takes a Loss

Swansea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Pelion Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-12.

Swansea's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pelion, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Swansea will welcome Calhoun County at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Pelion and Wagener-Salley will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
