Belchertown beats Commerce for their third straight win

The Belchertown Orioles had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Commerce 47-14 on the road. The result was nothing new for Belchertown, who have now won four matches by 27 points or more so far this season.

Commerce's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brandon Cotton, who picked up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Nathaniel Chacon-medina who threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes.

Belchertown's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Commerce, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belchertown will face off against Frontier Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Commerce is on the road again on Friday and play against Easthampton/Hampshire at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
