Volleyball Recap: New Trier Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

New Trier had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Lyons Lions by a score of 2-0. For the Trevians, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2023.

New Trier easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14.

New Trier's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Lyons, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-9.

New Trier wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Riverside-Brookfield on the 18th. As for Lyons, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Maine West on the 18th.
