Basketball Game Preview: Platte Valley Broncos vs. Fort Lupton Bluedevils

The Platte Valley Broncos will head out on the road to challenge the Fort Lupton Bluedevils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Platte Valley is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Platte Valley lost to Sterling at home by a 62-46 margin. The Broncos were down 55-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite their loss, Platte Valley saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Regan Edstrom, who posted six points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Alejandro Perez, who had five points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Fort Lupton had to suffer through a 71-42 loss at the hands of Eaton.

Fort Lupton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Platte Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Platte Valley couldn't quite finish off Fort Lupton in their previous meeting back in February and fell 63-60. Can Platte Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
