Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ritchie County). They put the hurt on the Braxton County Eagles with a sharp 26-0 victory on Wednesday. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

Rocklyn Marcum made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Chelsie Jeffrey and Kila Frymier did most of the damage at the plate: Jeffrey went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI, while Frymier went a perfect 4-for-4 with seven RBI, two runs, and one double.
