Basketball Game Preview: Reardan Screaming Eagles vs. Freeman Scotties

The Reardan Screaming Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Freeman Scotties at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Reardan sitting on 13 straight wins and Freeman on seven.

Reardan will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Colfax, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Reardan walked away with a 64-54 victory over Colfax on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Freeman didn't have too much trouble with Northwest Christian School on Wednesday as they won 71-56. Given the Scotties' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Crusaders are ranked 62nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Freeman's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.2 points. As for Reardan, their record now sits at 21-1.
