Trenton came tearing into Wednesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Milan Wildcats with a 44-40 victory. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 56-53 loss the last time these two teams met.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marian Dabney, who posted ten points and three blocks. Mya Pauley was another key player, putting up nine points and seven rebounds.

Trenton pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Milan, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.

Trenton will have a chance to go back-to-back against Milan: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
