Recap: Waller Bulldogs vs. Klein Oak Panthers
The Waller Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight defeat. They were the victim of a tough 49-27 loss at the hands of Klein Oak. Waller has not had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Klein Oak's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jada Singleton zenon, who scored eight points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Maci Mote, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
Waller has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-27 record this season. As for Klein Oak, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 26-6.
Waller will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Klein Cain presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bulldogs in Texas (the Hurricanes are ranked 505th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 1022nd). As for Klein Oak, they will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Tomball Memorial focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday.
