Softball Recap: Tatum Comes Up Short

If Tatum was feeling good fresh off their 14-3 takedown of Sabine last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tatum Eagles fell just short of the Arp Tigers by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Tatum's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Arp, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

While Tatum had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
