Basketball Recap: Oroville Comes Up Short

Oroville lost against Moses Lake Christian Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Oroville Hornets took a blow against the Moses Lake Christian Academy Lions, falling 68-34. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Lions are ranked 124th).

Oroville has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Moses Lake Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Oroville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-34 loss against Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian on the 31st. As for Moses Lake Christian Academy, they will face off against Waterville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Moses Lake Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
