Softball Recap: Alvin Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Alvin won the last time they faced Sam Rayburn and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Yellowjackets were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Texans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

Alvin pushed their record up to 13-8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Sam Rayburn, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.

Coincidentally, Alvin and Sam Rayburn will both be playing Manvel the next time they take the field. The Texans will host the Mavericks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Yellowjackets will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
