Baseball Recap: Clarke County Comes Up Short

Clarke County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Thomasville Tigers, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-1 back in March.

Clarke County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was DaMyon Horn, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one RBI. Horn has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played.

Clarke County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Thomasville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-6 record this season.
