Softball Game Preview: Brazosport Exporters vs. Wharton Tigers

Brazosport is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Wharton a seven-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Brazosport Exporters will welcome the Wharton Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Brazosport will be strutting in after a victory while Wharton will be coming in after a loss.

Brazosport will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Bay City on Friday. The Exporters were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Blackcats. The Exporters not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 11th.

Meanwhile, Wharton came up short against Needville on Tuesday, falling 13-3.

The win got Brazosport back to even at 9-9. As for Wharton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Brazosport was able to grind out a solid victory over Wharton when the teams last played back in March, winning 9-6. Will the Exporters repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
