Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Douglas' Seventh in Last Eight Outings

With a playoff win on the line, Douglas rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They took down the Narragansett Regional Warriors 48-32. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 39-30 back in February.

Douglas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.5 points on average over those games. Narragansett Regional's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6.

As of now, neither Douglas nor Narragansett Regional have any future games scheduled.
