Volleyball Recap: Miamisburg Takes a Loss

Miamisburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to Princeton.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15.

Aleeyah Hamilton paced Miamisburg's offense, picking up seven kills. Hamilton got some help from Reagan Toole and her 16 assists. Hamilton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Miamisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Princeton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Miamisburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Marion Local on the 23rd. As for Princeton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Mason at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Comets have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
