Softball Recap: Sturgeon Bay Takes a Loss

Sturgeon Bay extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 1-9 in the process. They came up short against the Kiel Raiders, falling 15-0. The Clippers were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

As for Kiel, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

For Kiel's part, they got a big performance out of Ally Endries, who went 1-for-2 with three runs and two RBI. Those three runs gave Endries a new career-high. Emma Neils was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

Sturgeon Bay wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Two Rivers on the 17th. Kiel has also already played their next match (against West De Pere), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
