Soccer Game Preview: Astronaut vs. Cocoa Beach

Astronaut is 1-9 against Cocoa Beach since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The War Eagles will square off against the Minutemen at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Astronaut played against Atlantic on Thursday and won via forfeit.

Cocoa Beach is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Space Coast with a sharp 4-1 victory. Considering Cocoa Beach have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Space Coast with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jadyn Senger, Jovan Jackson, Vaughn Broderson, and Javier Loza.

Astronaut's win bumped their record up to 11-5-2. As for Cocoa Beach, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7-1.

Astronaut couldn't quite get it done against Cocoa Beach when the teams last played back in November of 2025 as they fell 5-3. Can the War Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
