It was a good run, but Birdville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colleyville Heritage Panthers. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Hawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Birdville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Colleyville Heritage, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-2-1.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Birdville duke it out with Argyle at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Argyle will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Birdville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Colleyville Heritage, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Richland at 6:30 p.m. Colleyville Heritage's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Richland's offense will have their work cut out for them.
