Attica finds home court redemption against Riverton Parke

There's no place like home for the Attica Red Ramblers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past Riverton Parke 47-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Attica has posted since December 5, 2023.

Riverton Parke lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Corinne Loomis, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzie Nowicki, who scored two points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.

Attica's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Riverton Parke, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Attica will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Seeger at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. As for Riverton Parke, they will be playing at home against South Vermillion at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. South Vermillion comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last 18 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
