Soccer Game Preview: Carter-Riverside vs. Benbrook

Carter-Riverside hasn't had much luck against Benbrook recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will face off against the Bobcats at 8:00 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Carter-Riverside's offense. They lost 4-0 to Eastern Hills on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Benbrook entered their tilt with Young Women's Leadership Academy on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lady Owls an 8-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Lily Chavez as she scored three goals for her team.

Carter-Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 2-14-1. As for Benbrook, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3-1.

Carter-Riverside suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Benbrook in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
