Baseball Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest lost against Henry County back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings came up short against the Patriots, falling 7-1.

Northwest saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Damien Berry, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Northwest's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-13. As for Henry County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Northwest will head out to challenge Gallatin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Henry County, they will square off against Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
