Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vail Mountain). They claimed a resounding 48-16 victory over the Clear Creek Golddiggers. The Gore Rangers pushed the score to 40-11 by the end of the third, a deficit the Golddiggers had little chance of recovering from.

Kiana Garcia was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double with 28 points and ten steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Annie Halloran, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 15 boards.

Vail Mountain smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 30 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

The win (which was Vail Mountain's third in a row) raised their record to 5-11. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.7 points over those games. As for Clear Creek, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Vail Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 30-14 defeat against Soroco on the 7th. As for Clear Creek, they have also already played their next contest, a 68-3 loss against Flatirons Academy on the 6th.
