Basketball Recap: DeForest Takes a Loss

DeForest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Monona Grove Silver Eagles, falling 65-43. While losing is never fun, the Norskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Silver Eagles are ranked 106th).

DeForest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Monona Grove, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

DeForest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monona Grove, they will face off against Monroe at 12:50 p.m. on Thursday.
