Volleyball Recap: Monterey Trail Mustangs vs. Bradshaw Christian Pride
After losing to Bradshaw Christian the last time they met, Monterey Trail decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mustangs came out on top against the Pride by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Monterey Trail was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bradshaw Christian only served three aces.
Bradshaw Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Caitlin Hernandez and Monica Buchanan. Hernandez had 15 digs and two aces, while Buchanan had eight kills, seven digs, and one block. Buchanan is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 16 games she's played dating back to last season.
Monterey Trail's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bradshaw Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
Looking ahead, Monterey Trail will square off against Rosemont at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bradshaw Christian, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Elk Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
