Baseball Recap: Greater Nanticoke Area Falls to Holy Cross in First Game of Season

Greater Nanticoke Area had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Holy Cross Crusaders on Monday, falling 13-4. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 8-7 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ethan Ball was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Coming up, Greater Nanticoke Area will take on MMI Preparatory School at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Holy Cross, they are taking a road trip to square off against Valley View at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
