 The Viborg/Hurley Cougars will head out on the road to  face off against  the Colman-Egan C-E Hawks at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Viborg/Hurley is no doubt hoping to put an end to  an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 Viborg/Hurley lost  25-4 to Gayville-Volin on Monday.
 Meanwhile, Colman-Egan came up short against Castlewood on Thursday and fell  9-6.
  Lanie Mousel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and seven unearned) runs on six hits.
 On the hitting side,  Savanna Schmidt was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Kaitlyn Taggart, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Viborg/Hurley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Colman-Egan, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record  this season.
