Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Reese Tokushige and Lindsay Biddle Lead Rancho Bernardo to Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rancho Bernardo had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Rosary Academy Royals 38-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Broncos have posted since February 27, 2024.

Leading Rancho Bernardo to victory were Lindsay Biddle and Reese Tokushige. Biddle posted 17 points, while Tokushige scored 12 points. The dominant performance gave Tokushige a new career-high in points.

Rancho Bernardo's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Rosary Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-15.

Coming up, Rancho Bernardo will challenge Mark Keppel at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mark Keppel will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Rancho Bernardo surely won't give up without a fight. Rosary Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
