Baseball Recap: Memphis Home Education Association Victorious

Memphis Home Education Association won the last time they faced Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool and things went their way on Thursday too. Memphis Home Education Association came out on top against Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool by a score of 7-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for Memphis Home Education Association.

Jayce Griffith was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Memphis Home Education Association is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 9-12-1 otherwise. Griffith was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Memphis Home Education Association let Lucas Dennis and Caleb Long run wild. Dennis went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Long went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Long is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jonah Bennett, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

The win got Memphis Home Education Association back to even at 13-13-1. As for Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-14.
