Baseball Recap: Johnstown Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cohoes, Johnstown was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Middleburgh Knights by a score of 6-2. While the Sir Bills didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Johnstown's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Middleburgh, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Johnstown will challenge rival Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Middleburgh is set to square off against their familiar foe Cobleskill-Richmondville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
