Volleyball Recap: Los Altos Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

While Los Altos's victory against Monta Vista wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Matadors 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won six contests in a row.

Los Altos had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-27, 25-19, 25-20, 15-5.

Ana Heath was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 18 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Heath wasn't the only good servers: Los Altos was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They served one more ace than Monta Vista's also-impressive total of ten.

Los Altos' win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Monta Vista, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-13.
