The Leadership Academy Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. College Prep & Leadership Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Leadership Academy, who comes in off a win.

Leadership Academy played against Triad Math and Science Academy and won via forfeit.

College Prep & Leadership Academy is headed into Thursday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 68-65 heartbreaker at the hands of Winston-Salem Prep. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Royals still had to take the loss.

Leadership Academy pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for College Prep & Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-4.
