Basketball Recap: Easley Takes a Loss

Easley played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the North Augusta Yellow Jackets and fell 87-58. The Green Wave were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-27.

Despite the loss, Easley still got an impressive performance from RJ Stack, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. The game was Stack's sixth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Campbell, who posted 12 points.

Easley now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Easley will head out to take on Dorman at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Augusta, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Cross Creek at 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd. The Yellow Jackets will need to watch out since the Razorbacks have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
