Basketball Recap: Lebanon Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Lebanon won the last time they faced Turpin and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lebanon Warriors took down the Turpin Spartans 50-36. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 158th, while the Spartans are ranked 599th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lebanon's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Turpin, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lebanon has already played their next contest (against Loveland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Turpin has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Anderson.
