Pine Bluff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Hot Springs Trojans, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-4 back in April.

Pine Bluff got a good showing from T'Edrick Pridgeon, who tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Pine Bluff saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Desmon Moss, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Pine Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 2-23. As for Hot Springs, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 5-16-1 record.
