Volleyball Recap: Denver South Falls Short of Pine Creek in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Denver South couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Pine Creek Eagles on Friday. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Alyssa Valdez was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and one assist.

Denver South's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Pine Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Denver South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pine Creek, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Legend on the 14th.
