Volleyball Recap: Keys Gate Comes Up Short

Keys Gate lost against Coral Shores back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights came up short against the Hurricanes, falling 3-0. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Keys Gate was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Coral Shores' winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 27-25.

Leading Coral Shores to victory were Ivy Tiedemann and Maddie Jordan. Tiedemann had nine digs and two aces, while Jordan had three digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Jordan a new career-high.

Keys Gate now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Coral Shores, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Keys Gate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coral Shores, they will head out on the road to square off against Marathon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
