Basketball Recap: Killian Hill Christian Comes Up Short

Killian Hill Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a blow against the Community Christian Knights, falling 74-47. The Cougars lost against the Knights in their previous head to head back in January of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 92-37 score last time.

Despite the loss, Killian Hill Christian still got an impressive performance from Ronald Skeete, who posted 18 points. Skeete continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Timothy Johns, who put up 11 points.

Killian Hill Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Community Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Killian Hill Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 76-43 loss against HALO on the 16th. As for Community Christian, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Young Americans Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Young Americans Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.2 points per game this season.
