Basketball Game Preview: Ramona Bulldogs vs. University City Centurions

The Ramona Bulldogs and the University City Centurions will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Ramona has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Ramona is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Valley Center 94-66 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bulldogs have posted since November 21, 2024.

University City got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 55-42 win over Scripps Ranch on Friday. The score was all tied up 20-20 at the break, but the Centurions were the better team in the second half.

University City now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Ramona, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Everything went Ramona's way against University City in their previous meeting back in December of 2015, as Ramona made off with a 53-28 win. Does Ramona have another victory up their sleeve, or will University City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
