Montgomery Catholic is 9-0-1 against LAMP since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Golden Tigers at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Montgomery Catholic and six for LAMP.

Montgomery Catholic came up short against Prattville Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 12-3.

Peyton Dees made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Meanwhile, LAMP came up short against Charles Henderson on Wednesday and fell 11-7.

Alice Vickers was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Elizabeth Ladd also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

LAMP's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Montgomery Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Montgomery Catholic took their win against LAMP in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
