Basketball Game Preview: Meeker Bulldogs vs. McLoud Redskins

Meeker is 2-8 against McLoud since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Meeker Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the McLoud Redskins at 5:45 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Meeker is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Prague.

Meanwhile, McLoud entered their contest against Harrah on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. McLoud fell 48-40 to Harrah.

Meeker's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for McLoud, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-3.

Meeker took a serious blow against McLoud in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 68-24. Can Meeker avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
