Piedmont barely beat West Stanly the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Colts on Tuesday. Considering Piedmont have won six matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Piedmont is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those eight games. As for West Stanly, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-5.
