With a playoff win on the line, Bountiful rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles by a score of 4-0. This was a revenge game for the RedHawks: when they faced off against the Golden Eagles on Tuesday, they had to take a 13-9 defeat.

Not much got past Ella Miller, who gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Maple Mountain off the board.

On the hitting side, Kamryn Rasmussen was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Bountiful hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive matches.

Bountiful's record is now 28-5. As for Maple Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-10.

Coming up, Bountiful will square off against West Jordan at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the RedHawks surely won't give up without a fight. Maple Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
