Volleyball Recap: Bishop Kenny Has No Trouble Against Menendez

With a playoff win on the line, Bishop Kenny rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Menendez Falcons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-13.

Sophia Miller was the offensive standout of the match as she had three digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Lilian Heldenbrand also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Bishop Kenny was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive matchups.

Bishop Kenny's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Menendez, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

As of now, neither Bishop Kenny nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
